Measuring learner outcomes of study-specific training
While on staff in the learning department, Cherie worked to write and develop an online tutorial to train clinical staff in assessment writing. The clinicians were not educators, but they trained staff. They needed to measure learning outcomes of protocol and study-specific knowledge they trained using multiple choice items.
The tutorial taught basic principles of writing good assessments. It was contextualized to use examples and vocabulary specific to the clinical content being trained. Media was created in Adobe Captivate. Cherie recorded the voice over in Audacity.
